Once upon a time, Sama invited her friend Winderisha for a sleepover. Her evil sisters Arana and Amia, overheard her talking on the phone.

Amia eyes twinkled as she said, “Let’s be naughty. They are coming at two o’clock, sharp. We’ll get some pillows and a couple of sheets to hide under. If we put pillows on top of us, but hide under the sheets, it’ll look like we’re just pillows. If you agree, get the material, and we will set it up in Sama’s bedroom.”

“Its on!” Arana grinned. She gathered the stuff, and then together they set it up.

Amia said, “When they come, let’s start a pillow fight. Accept?”

Arana nodded. “It’s on! Shhhhh! They will hear us.”

Seconds later, Winderisha and Sama came in chattering and laughing, when suddenly, Sama’s sisters jumped out of nowhere and stated chucking pillows at the bewildered duo.

Winderisha stammered “ Were these two supposed to attack us?”

Sama was just as shocked. “No”

“Why don’t you join in?” Amia asked, unabashed.

Sama and Winderisha looked at each other and nodded vigorously. “Sure!”

They all enjoyed pillow fighting for some time.

Then Amia suggested they do a jigsaw, because their mum would not get mad if she walked in midst their pillow fight. Everyone shrugged and reluctantly put their pillows down.

But the room was a sorry mess with clothes, books and dolls strewn everywhere. They looked at each other in despair, and resigned themselves to the boring task of clearing up. The process took a while, but it wasn’t as bad as they had imagined, because they talked about the best moments of the pillow fight.

“Remember when Sama waved the sheet and all the books came crashing down from the shelf?” Amia recalled, and the girls burst out laughing.

“What about when you whacked Mr. Brown right off his chair?” Sama retorted, as Amia rushed off to check on her favorite teddy bear.

An hour later, they were just about done , when Sama’s mother came back from work and asked “So far so good?”

Sama said, “Superb, thanks to my little sisters. Can they stay with us? We were having fun.”

“As long as I don’t get a complaint from Winderishah's mother.” Sama’s mother looked at them suspiciously.

“Yay!”Sama replied.

She added, “Can I take them to the mystery park?”

Sama’s mother nodded.

The four of them headed to the magical park Sama had discovered some time ago.

When they returned, Sama’s mother had lunch ready for them, so they ate and played games.

Sama said, “I won Scrabble, rummy, Jenga, chess, and Yahtzee.”

Winderisha said “ Hey, I won Catan.”

Amia shouted,“ I won snakes and ladders.”

“ I won Othello,” Arana chimed in.

“Overall, I won the most games.” Sama declared.

“Now Sama, you’re the host. You must be gracious and generous with your guests. Besides, you all had fun didn’t you?” Sama’s mother asked.

“That we did,” Winderisha declared. “ Can we have tea? I’m super thirsty.”

“Sure, why not?” Sama’s mother agreed and showed them all the snacks she had prepared. Then she left to let them have fun by themselves.

Amia said, “Lets do this Sis, Sis, and Sis’s friend.”

They had sandwiches, cupcakes and cookies with tea.

“One hour to dinner,” Sama announced after checking her watch, as she washed down the last cookie with her last sip of tea.

“Then we have time for hairdos,” Winderisha pointed out, and they spent an hour trying out various hairstyles on each other. Winderisha loved the plait Sama made for her, and wore it to dinner.

After dinner, they played Monopoly, and then all went to bed on Sama’s huge bed.
